The Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) at P R Thakur Govt. College is constituted in accordance with the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013.

The ICC serves two primary functions:

Addressing Complaints: The ICC is responsible for receiving and addressing complaints of sexual harassment within the college. This involves conducting inquiries, providing recommendations for action, and ensuring that victims receive the support and protection they need.

Spreading Awareness: The committee is also tasked with promoting awareness about gender-related issues and educating the college community about the rights and responsibilities under the Act, as well as the role and functioning of the ICC.

These efforts aim to create a safer and more inclusive environment for all members of the college.
